Is Your Loved One Resisting the Opportunity to Seek Treatment?

An intervention from one of our experienced professionals could be the key to turning them around.

Is your family member / loved one in need of addiction treatment, but is either hesitant about treatment or flat out refusing it?

First of all – please understand that this is very common and you are doing the right thing by taking the first step towards finding treatment on their behalf. They may not show you appreciation in this moment. But you very well may be saving their life.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Pictured above, from left to right, are Nate and Tommy who head up the Community Outreach Team at Allendale Treatment. You might even recognize them from community events, their podcast, YouTube, local and national news segments – or even Nate’s visit to Washington DC to advocate on behalf of families dealing with addiction.

Each of these individuals on our intervention team have been right where your loved one is now. They’ve battled addiction. They have refused treatment. They have faced interventions.

And… they have accepted treatment.

Now, living very full lives in recovery, meeting with individuals who are where they once were is (usually) a very powerful motivator to finally accept treatment.

Every situation is different, but we pay home visits, hotel room visits – wherever they are, we’ll come to them. Families are often involved, but not always. Sometimes it goes like how you see on TV, sometimes it doesn’t.

But at the end of the day, more times than not we end up leaving with the loved one and headed to treatment.

There is no cost for this service when the individual is qualified for treatment at our facility. Give us a call and let’s work out a plan together!
